| About UsNorgateData started out as a consulting firm to the
futures industry in 1992. We had futures brokers, managed futures funds
and large private traders as our clients. As part of this role,
we were asked to provide a daily futures update service to a client
who was dissatisfied with the services that were currently available
in the market-place. The client also wanted various tools to manipulate
the data. The resulting software was the forerunner of our "DataTools"
product, which was released commercially in 1999.
It was a natural step to progress to stock-market data. In 2001,
we contracted with the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) to re-publish its data. Since then, we
have added the U.S. Exchanges to the service.
Our stock market data is available through a specialised service
              called "Premium Data".

Norgate's main focus today is on providing end-of-day securities
data to retail-level clients. Because that's pretty well all we do, we have the time
to try and do it properly.
Wholesale DataDue to the nature of our licensing agreements with various upstream suppliers (exchanges and leading information
vendors), we are unable to supply data as a wholesaler. If you need data for a website, or simply wish to buy data
that you can sell independently, you will need to contact a leading information vendor such as Reuters or
Interactive Data, or contact the relevant exchanges. |
